Amisha Thobani

Amisha, a former project manager at Citigroup in Canary Wharf who became a stay at mum was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2004. She underwent a 9-hour craniotomy to remove the tumour. Four years later, following the birth of her twin, she faced her second brain tumour which was also surgically removed. Eight years after that, she encountered an inoperable third tumour and underwent radiotherapy. Presently, her brain tumour is stable.

Throughout her journey, Becky and the team at Brain Tumour Injury Charity have been a source of unwavering support. Amisha is honoured to serve as a Trustee for the charity, drawing from first-hand experience in being diagnosed, treated and living with a brain tumour.Â
