Counselling

At Hillingdon Brain Tumour and Injury Group we believe that when you have such a traumatic event in your lives as a brain tumour or injury the whole family changes. We need to work with this change to keep families together and to help them come to terms with their new life.

Counselling can do just that. It can help to talk to someone and ask the questions why has this happened and how will I cope? It can assist you with coping strategies to help you through difficult times. There are many different types of counselling and it has taken years of time and research within our group to find the right counselling that suits our group of Warriors (patient) and Angels (carers).

Here are the services that Hillingdon Brain Tumour and Injury Group provides, either individually or as a family, in your journey to a new life. All our counsellors are fully trained and have been used by us so we know just how good they are.
